If you have decided to give up smoking then Congratulaions on makiing the decision to change the one thing that is likely to determine how long you will live. All you need now is a little help to make sure that you stick to your decision.
Patches and gum can help but they will only get you through the first stages and the downside of both patches & gum is that they actually delay the process of ridding your body of nicotine and therefore make the nicotine craving last longer but gradually diminish it.

· aromatic amines: 1-aminonapthalene, 2-aminonapthalene, 3-aminobiphenyl and 4-aminobiphenyl*· benzo[a]pyrene*
· volatile carbonyls (formaldehyde*, acetaldehyde*, acetone, acrolein, propionaldehyde, crotonaldehyde, methyl ethyl ketone and butyraidehyde)
· 10 selected basic semi-volatiles: pyridine and quinoline
· 11 phenolic compounds: hydroquinone, resorcinol, catechol, phenol, m+p-cresol, and o-cresol
· ammonia
· carbon monoxide
· nicotine ( Highly poisonous!)
· nitric oxide
· hydrogen cyanide
