Prior to visiting Alan I was informed by a specialist that I had enlarged tonsils and uvula and this was causing me to clear my throat all the time. My wife found this very irritating. I spoke with Alan and he grasped the situation immediately. After 2 sessions my symptoms have got 75% better. Due to the fact I have larger tonsils and uvula than a normal person these symptoms will never go away entirely but they are now down to a manageable level. I have cancelled the operation!

Thankyou for seeing me last week. As soon as I left I came out of the session feeling extremely confident and relaxed. There has been such a tremendous difference in the way i think  and feel about my phobias that I will have to cancel our second session as I feel it is no longer needed.
I went to evening class last night and was completely able to cope with the fears that have held me back for years. I was honestly not expecting this from one session and am amazed at the effect that you have had. I will be more than happy to recommend you to family and friends. Thanks once again.

Just a quick note to say thank you. I couldn't believe that after just one session I had stopped biting my nails, a habit I had been practicing since childhood. I will be back to deal with the other issues I have over the coming months.

"Thanks so much for the hypnosis help I received.  I have made some key changes in my life and can really feel the benefit of working with you.  Straight after the session I was feeling really positive.  You really helped me to understand my problem and consider what was triggering it.  Your suggestions for simple changes were so refreshing - I never would have thought of it that way.
I really felt like you treated me as an individual and worked with my issues and circumstances.
Since I came to see you making the changes has been easy and important things you said to me keep coming to mind at the right moment.  It really is incredible how much you have helped me.  My mental and physical health are much improved and I'm sure I couldn't have done it without you.  You have made a real difference to my life and I have recommended you to several of my friends."

The following testamonial is a long one but worth reading as it gives a small insight into the hypnotherapy process:

I have drunk heavily for many years now but in a very social environment. I never saw this as a problem and even now drinking socially is not problem to me. What happened to me was I found myself more and more drinking at home and I'm not talking about a glass or two of wine, it was more like eight cans of cider. I still didn't see this as a problem for some time and despite being told by loved ones that I drank to much I continued doing this almost on a daily basis with taking maybe a Monday night off for recovery purposes.
I began to see it as a problem myself when I stopped going to the gym which is something I have done for over fifteen years and even as a child and teenager growing up I was always active. I was known for being in shape and generally an active person. I also found myself hiding my evidence of the amount alcohol I was drinking from hiding empties to trying to mask the smell of alcohol on me when going to work. It was at this point I thought I must have a problem to try and hide it from others and I decided I would see someone about it. I thought about seeing my GP but after some research on the internet decided I would see a hypnotherapist.
With the many websites on the net it was hard to find one which stood out and I felt I could trust but for some reason whilst reading through Alan’s site something clicked with me and I felt comfortable enough to take it further. Whilst I had made the initial first steps I began to feel a little apprehensive, being a typical bloke and someone not normally open to talking to close family let alone strange new folk I did think maybe I had made a mistake.
I was very wrong; my first meeting with Alan was a consultation where we both spoke about my situation to decide if what Alan had to offer could actually help me. It was to ensure that both myself and Alan were confident that hypnosis could actually be of any benefit to me. If he wasn't happy then he said he would not treat me and If I felt it wasn't right for me then we could part as friends. This initial session incidentally was free of charge and gave me the confidence to give it a try. Alan came across as a very honest person whose goal wasn't to just fill his diary with paying clients but to ensure his clients received the best treatment in the shortest amount of time as possible.
After my first session with Alan he commented on the fact that I had not gone deep enough into a state of hypnosis, which is not unusual, and would improve with practice with the recording of the session I had just had. I could use this CD at home and follow the same session I had just had as many times as I felt necessary until my next session.   The odd thing was that I didn't feel any different; a little more relaxed maybe but I left with an open mind to see what would happen if anything until my next appointment in two weeks.
Well I never had a second appointment. Now I am not saying I am teetotal as this was never the goal when I went to see Alan. I just wanted to have more control of my intake of alcohol and drink socially and at the weekends. During that two week period I didn't seem to want to drink anywhere near as often. I even went a weekend without a drink which my girlfriend pointed out to me on a Sunday evening and the best part is I didn't even notice. I didn't miss the drink. That was a great feeling for me and that has continued for me since.
All I can say is thank you Alan. I would recommend your help to my family and friends anytime. Even if you are unsure if Alan can actually help you, like I was at the beginning speak to him on the phone and go for a consultation, you have nothing to loose and everything to gain.
Once again Alan I thank you for you help.
